The path to success is sometimes hard to travel. A recent survey by accounting and finance recruiter Badenoch & Clark found that almost half of all finance professionals were unhappy with their employer’s flexible working arrangements.
But the real problem seems to be a lack of communication, with 81% of employers saying they saw no downside to offering flexible working. There also appears to be disparity on the definition of flexible working with one in three of employers thinking it meant reduced working hours, but only 3% of employees of the same opinion.
