Hotel chain Premier Travel Inn has extended a contract agreement with Atos Worldline for five years to include the management of its business-to-business account card services.

The payment services specialist, which is part of IT services organisation Atos Origin, will manage the company’s business account product which simplifies management of its business customers expenses by providing expense information in a streamlined, readily available and cost efficient way.

The bespoke payment solution is key to putting the customer at the heart of the Premier Travel Inn business.

Atos Worldline will process business facility request applications, managed credit checking and credit insurance provision, develop and maintain the account holder and application database, produce and dispatch account holder cards, process transactions, produce and despatch invoices and statements.

It will also handle and escalate management information, such as account holder reporting, process crediting and debiting, provide credit and debit risk management, and provide a contact support team.

Peter Gardiner, director of sales, Premier Travel Inn, said: ‘In the changing commercial landscape both cost control and management information are king. Atos Worldline were able to manage the development through a partnership with our own management teams and develop a customer driven payment solution that allowed us to stay ahead in the hotel sector.’

Gardiner says Premier Travel Inn's business account card has been adopted by over half of its commercial customers.

‘We place great importance on customer relationship management ensuring that our customers have the highest possible levels of service. From the outset Atos Worldline have been helping us to achieve this goal,’ he said.
