Budget airline Flybe has signed a deal
with specialist travel software provider
Amadeus which will enable agents worlwide
to access to the airline's full fare data.
The deal is an extension of the previous contract, which did not include
information on Flybe's lowest fares.
“We have been bookable through Amadeus for many years, and are looking
forward to seeing the results of this extended offering,” said Flybe head of
sales Stephen Hobday.
As well as benefiting travel agents, the deal will enable the airline to
promote its recently-expanded route network to all users of the Amadeus network.
Following the acquisition of BA Connect, 70 per cent of Flybe’s carriers now
run on domestic UK routes.
