Zycko goes Dutch

Distributor branches into Holland and is looking for partners to help it fulfil growth plans

Written by Sara Yirrell

Storage and networking distributor Zycko has unleashed an assault on the Dutch market and is looking for new VAR partners.

The firm, which already has offices in France, Germany and Russia as well as the UK, is looking to employ around 20 staff in its new Holland office in roles ranging from vendor management and HR to warehouse operations and sales.

David Galton-Fenzi, group sales director at Zycko said Holland was a key market for the distributor.

“We have been operating in the region for some time and know that opportunities exist there for our VARs to take advantage of,” he said. “Our strategy is that once demand reaches a certain point in any given locality, we must consider locally based support in order to facilitate continued growth. Holland has now reached that point.”

Marcus Chambers, Vice President EMEA at Riverbed Technology, said: “Holland is part of the major European trading network. Zycko’s presence there will provide added strength and a direct opportunity for Riverbed resellers to present our WAN optimisation solutions to the Dutch market.”
