Zycko zapped by Zeus thunderbolt

Software vendor inks deal with Gloucestershire-based distributor

Written by Sam Trendall

Software vendor Zeus Technology has signed up Zycko to distribute its application traffic management products.

Zeus Extensible Traffic Manager (ZXTM) application delivery offering is designed to improve the performance of applications through streamlining and simplifying their infrastructure. Zeus also claims its software architecture allows it to reach places inaccessible to hardware application delivery controllers.

Simon Cuthbert, EMEA sales director for Zeus, said: "Zeus Technology is committed to growing its channel of value added resellers, solution providers and system integrators throughout EMEA; our partnership with Zycko is the next stage in the evolution of this plan.

"Zycko has a strong reputation within the channel and is recognised by its resellers for the value it adds. Together with Zycko, Zeus Technology will continue to work closely with all partners ensuring they receive the technical and commercial support they need to achieve targeted success and growth."

Zycko's group sales director David Galton-Fenzi added: "Zeus provides an exciting extension to our network and application optimisation technologies portfolio. High performance application delivery technology is of increasing interest to our resellers, both in traditional and next-generation data centre situations. We have already received a very positive response to Zeus solutions. "
